Dr. Subodh Agarwal is a senior IAS officer from the 1988 Rajasthan cadre. Born on December 17, 1965, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, he is now 59 years old. Although his home state is Uttar Pradesh, he has strong connections to Jaipur, where he was born. Currently, Subodh Agarwal IAS is the Director General of the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan, and throughout his career, he has held many key administrative positions at both state and central levels.
Dr. Agarwal’s wife, Rolee Agarwal, is an IRS officer and the Commissioner of Income Tax. They have two children: Shubh Agarwal, who also serves as an IRS officer in the customs department, and Shagun Agarwal, who recently received the 2024 National Advertising Award.
